Beauty From Pain
Engulfed by the frigid darkness
The girl began to lose herself.
Rapidly fading away
As memories of her vibrant galaxy got hazier.
She missed her vibrant cosmos.
Their bond was transcended by passion and nirvana.
She even missed her planets that she nurtured.
But most of all,
The girl missed the feeling of safety and bliss
Which was once her world,
And wished she never followed the sadistic stranger
Out of their loving arms.
Now consumed with regret and pain,
The cosmos’s daughter began to cry
Opening her soul one last time
Allowing all her unsaid words and journey
To spill out into the abyss bringing life to new planets
As they fed off her anguish and contrition.
Tears forming new stars
Which held the last of her memories.
Her pain generating a new universe
Which brought a sliver of hope into the void,
A testament to every girl after her,
That they weren’t alone
Because there was someone else just as naïve
Suffering the same fate
Bringing them some comfort and warmth
In the once empty, ebony realm of solitude.
